Welcome to Our Early Years: The Joy of Learning Through Play!

Golden Bridge International School (GBISPP) is specifically guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Kindergarten Curriculum Guidelines, which explicitly champion play-based learning.

Where Magic Meets Mastery!

At our Early Years Centre, we believe the most powerful learning happens when children are truly happy, curious, and engaged. That's why we have built our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs on the internationally recognised principles of play-based learning, perfectly aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum's Early Years framework.

Here, a stick is not just a stick—it's a magic wand, a flagpole, a fishing rod, and the foundation of a mathematical concept!

Why is Play the Best Way to Learn?

Through play your child is learning:

  • Building a Castle of Blocks (Math & Science): Learning about balance, measurement, geometry, problem-solving, and basic physics.
  • Dressing Up as a Vet (Literacy & Social Skills): Developing vocabulary, creative storytelling, negotiation, empathy, and effective communication.
  • Singing, Painting, and Dancing (The Arts & Wellbeing): Fostering creativity, self-expression, fine and gross motor skills, and emotional regulation.
  • Digging in the Sandpit (Critical Thinking): Testing hypotheses ("Will this wet sand hold my tower?"), developing concentration, and practising planning skills.

We ensure your child is not only school-ready with foundational knowledge, but also confident, resilient, and excited lifelong learners through these engaging, play-based experiences.

Our Curriculum: The Playful Path to WACE Success

The skills your child gains here are the essential building blocks for the formal learning of the later school years, including the comprehensive WACE curriculum.

Our expert educators use intentional teaching to guide and extend your child's play. We don't just "let them play"; we set up rich, stimulating learning environments—inside and out—where every activity has a clear purpose tied to the curriculum's learning outcomes:

  • Literacy: Through interactive storytelling, drawing, and dramatic play.
  • Numeracy: Using natural materials, cooking, counting steps, and sorting objects.
  • Physical Education: Through purposeful outdoor exploration and movement.

We ensure that when your child eventually transitions to Pre-Primary, they are not only school-ready with foundational knowledge, but are also confident, resilient, and excited lifelong learners
