We fully align with the standards set by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), ensuring our students receive comprehensive instruction in the National Khmer Curriculum. This is more than just compliance; it is a commitment to cultivating cultural pride, strong national identity, and fluency in Khmer language and history.

Golden Bridge International School (GBISPP) is deeply committed to upholding and advancing the national standards set by the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS). This commitment is central to our educational mission and ensures that every student who completes our program is fully qualified to participate in the Cambodian National Examinations. The comprehensive Khmer Program is offered daily, from Kindergarten through Grade 12, running for a dedicated four hours to meet all regulatory and academic demands.

Our objective is to deliver the highest standard of the Khmer curriculum through creative teaching techniques and a team of rigorously qualified and experienced local teachers. These certified professionals, many of whom come from government schools, specialize in the core subjects prescribed by MoEYS. The program places strong emphasis on mastering the Khmer language, learning Cambodian history, culture, and civic responsibility, alongside developing essential skills in mathematics and science. This balanced approach ensures students not only excel academically but also graduate with a profound sense of social awareness and national identity.

The Kindergarten years (typically K1-K3) are crucial for preparing young children for primary school. The Khmer curriculum at this level focuses on the vital introduction of the Khmer language. Students are actively engaged in learning the sounds, consonants, and vowels, promoting neat handwriting and foundational skills. The primary aim is to ensure students become fluent in writing, listening, and especially speaking Khmer to support basic conversations. Simultaneously, they are introduced to basic numeracy and early critical thinking principles in mathematics.

As students progress to the Primary levels (Grades 1-6) and Secondary school (Grades 7-12), the curriculum becomes progressively more rigorous. Subjects taught in Khmer at the Primary level include Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, focusing on correct pronunciation, reading mastery, and grammar, while exploring concepts like geometry, action/reaction, and morality.
The Secondary school curriculum (Grades 7-12) is well-rounded, delivered by specialist teachers for each subject. It covers Khmer Literature, Math, Biology & Earth Science, Civics & Home Economics, Physics & Chemistry, ICT, Physical Education, and History & Geography. By adhering strictly to MoEYS policy, GBISPP ensures that our students can seamlessly transition to our school from any public or private institution, securing their pathway to future academic success within Cambodia.
